The Leeds City Region Innovation Programme (ICP) is an action plan for more effectively linking our assets for a better economic future.
The Innovation Capital Programme (ICP) is a roadmap to:
- enable business to flourish through innovation-led activity
- develop the Leeds City Region as a globally-recognised Innovation Capital
It sets out the vision and priorities for the city region innovation agenda alongside the activities and investment required to achieve them.
The ICP sets out how the city region will deliver on this ambition by:
- developing the city region innovation system
- developing the innovative capacity of the city region
- promoting the profile/developing connections of the city region
The ambition to foster the Leeds City Region as an Innovation Capital is one that can only be achieved with the full buy-in and support of our many stakeholders—the businesses, universities and partner organisations that make our economy work.
