This is a working draft of a Leeds City Region Statement for inclusion in all Local Economic Assessments (LEAs) produced by local authorities in the Leeds City Region.

It is based on nationally available secondary data sources accessed in June 2010, studies and reports commissioned by Leeds City Region over the past 3 years, analysis provided by
Yorkshire Forward and workshop sessions with LEA leads and economic development officers.
